By installing or using DarkWalls (“the app”) you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
1. Use of the app
DarkWalls is a free app that provides a curated library of dark, OLED-optimized wallpapers for personal use on your mobile device. You may:
- Install the app on devices you personally own or operate.
- Save wallpapers from within the app to your device’s photo library for personal use as a wallpaper, lock-screen image, or similar personal display.
- Share wallpapers from the in-app share sheet with people you know.
You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially license the wallpapers themselves, whether individually or in bulk, through any channel — social, commercial, or otherwise.
- Re-publish the wallpapers in another wallpaper app, website, print product, or as part of a competing service.
- Use the app or its contents for any illegal purpose or to infringe any third party’s rights.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source material beyond what is served by the public API.
2. Wallpaper content
All wallpapers included in DarkWalls are owned and/or created by the app’s publisher (Orbon Tech). No third-party stock-photo license, artist license, or royalty chain is required.

- Personal use: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, worldwide license to use the wallpapers as a personal device background.
- No commercial use: Any commercial, promotional, or redistribution use requires prior written permission from [email protected].
If you believe a wallpaper infringes your copyright, write to [email protected] with the details required by a standard takedown notice (identification of the work, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and a signature); we will investigate and respond.
3. Advertising and in-app purchases
DarkWalls is free and supported by short Rewarded Interstitial ads from Google AdMob, shown immediately before each wallpaper save. Ad behavior, the App Tracking Transparency prompt, and the data Google receives are described in the Privacy Policy.
The app offers a single non-consumable in-app purchase, Remove Ads, that permanently disables ad interruptions for the purchasing Apple ID on this device. The purchase is billed by Apple via StoreKit; the price displayed in the app at the time of purchase is final. To restore a previous purchase on a new device or after reinstall, use Settings → Restore Purchases. Refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; Orbon Tech cannot process refunds on Apple’s behalf.
4. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful code. You use the app at your own risk.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orbon Tech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the app.
Orbon Tech’s total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of the app shall not exceed the amount you have paid Orbon Tech in the twelve months preceding the claim — which, for a free app, is zero.
6. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the app, remove content, or terminate access to the backend at our discretion. If the app is discontinued, locally-stored data on your device is unaffected; you can continue to use any wallpapers you have already saved to your Photos.
7. Privacy
Your privacy is covered in full by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without reference to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the United Arab Emirates.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app the first time you open a version after the change. Continued use of the app after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
